Event Description
Some of William Shakespeare’s plays were not exactly pro-feminist to today’s standards. Lavinia takes a number of Shakespeare’s women who had a bad run-in, and gathers them in a support group. In the tradition of Elizabethan Theatre, one male actor takes on all the roles in this multi-character piece. A bold investigation of the appropriation of stories and bodies from Uno Fest alum Jon Lachlan Stewart (Big Shot, 2009).
