Bringing together African, European, and Indigenous influences, the region’s music is filled with infectious rhythms, expressive melodies, and an unmistakable spirit of joy. This vibrant program celebrates the extraordinary diversity and artistry of Caribbean music.
Joining Cantabile for this special performance is OKAN, the two-time Juno Award-winning ensemble whose electrifying performances fuse Afro-Cuban traditions with jazz, folk, and global influences. Featuring violin, percussion, and dynamic vocals, OKAN brings unmistakable energy to the stage, sharing music that is both deeply rooted in tradition and boldly innovative.
