Weekend Camping Passes
A Weekend Camping Pass is required for each person who stays overnight at Blue Skies. The Camping Pass is also your ticket to the Blue Skies Music Festival. Weekend Camping Passes are $130 each. Children 12 and under are free. The Weekend Camping subsidized rate is $85.
The Blue Skies Music Festival cannot host all of the folks who’d like to attend. To be as fair as possible, a draw will be held for people on the Blue Skies email list. To put your name on the waiting list for Blue Skies Weekend Camping Passes contact: [email protected]
Day passes are also available at the festival gate when the gate opens on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8 AM. Day pass tickets sold at the gate are $40 each and must be paid for in cash.
Blue Skies Music Festival has been an annual summer event that began somewhat casually with a gathering of friends at a natural amphitheatre near Clarendon, north of Kingston, one summer weekend in the early 1970s.
Folk, bluegrass and country music are the main sounds of the Blue Skies Music Festival, and attendee participation is encouraged, through workshops, open stage performances, drum circles and campfire singalongs.
The inclusive and relaxed vibe at Blue Skies Music Festival has made it a very popular event, with weekend camping passes selling out every year. "A great party and a tight community, Blue Skies has also been known since the start as a bit of a musician's festival. There's a relaxed and informal atmosphere that allows performers, audience and organizers to ease back a bit and just enjoy." Since the early '80s, Blue Skies weekend camping passes have been decided by lottery. Kids and families are a big part of the festival.

Over the years, Blue Skies has evolved in its own, quirky way. With an organizational structure more like a group of friends than a board of directors, and an eye to staying small and manageable rather than big and money-making, Blue Skies has developed its own way of doing things.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
