Pacific Opera Victoria is thrilled to offer students, educators, and community groups the unique opportunity to experience the artistry of opera up close at our final dress rehearsal for each production at the Royal Theatre.

Promo codes are sent to schools and Ticket Access Program partner organizations in advance of each production.
Students may also purchase tickets in advance in person at the Baumann Centre or the Royal Theatre (valid student ID required).

Puccini’s Tosca is one of the most iconic operas ever written, and its dramatic power has left a lasting mark on pop culture. The opera’s gripping story of love, jealousy, and political betrayal has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including Quantum of Solace, where Bond attends a performance of Tosca during a pivotal scene. Its famous arias—“Vissi d’arte,” “E lucevan le stelle,” and “Recondita armonia”—have become shorthand for operatic passion and have been featured in everything from The Sopranos to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, cementing Tosca as a cultural touchstone far beyond the opera house.
