Event Description

“We have a wonderful concert of music as our season finale. All works have some Americana influence. The first major work is Rodeo: Four Dance Episodes – A. Copland. Always an audience favourite. Rhapsody in Blue – G. Gershwin follows as performed by our guest artist, Clare Marion. The concert concludes with New World Symphony (No. 9), Op 95, E Minor – A. Dvorak. A composition that shows the spirit of the New World as seen by a European composer.”
