The Wilderness is what you get when six chosen brothers from Kingston, ON spend nine years driving 100,000 miles for nothing but the love of rock n' roll. Sometimes, you get songs like therapy sessions, oversharing to strangers about your weird relationship with your dad and how you thought you'd be young forever. Other times, you get your mum's favourite would-be arena band crammed into your hometown's sweatiest dive bar on a Tuesday night with rent due in the morning. No matter what, you get the hardest-working, harmony-belting, saxophone-growling, cowboy-chord-strumming, tambourine throwing small-town rock n' roll band your friends have probably never heard of, in it for the long haul from 2015- forever

Texas King:
Texas King is an alternative rock band known for their energetic performances and blend of rock, indie, and pop influences.

In 2022, they released the EP Changes, featuring a mix of introspective lyrics and strong instrumentals. This EP led to their signing with Known Accomplice and set the stage for their 2023 follow-up EP, Capsize. This EP marked a significant step in their growth, with tracks like the #4 Active Rock radio hit,“Whatever You Break.”
Their new single,“Hook Me Up,” is from their upcoming album and explores the idea of reaching a crossroads in life. The band describes it as a conversation with oneself, recognizing the need for help and the importance of finding a source of energy to get through tough times.
Influenced by Kings of Leon and The Black Keys, Texas King has been touring and recording since 2014. They've played major stages like Boots & Hearts, Hillside, Tall Pines, and Festival d’été de Québec, while touring across North America with bands like Big Wreck, Last Dinosaurs, and The Glorious Sons.
Texas King continues to move forward in the world of alternative rock with new music and performances on the horizon, building on their success and looking ahead to what’s next.
