Tourism Kingston Film and Media in partnership with Queen’s Film and Media hosts a new Production Assistant fundamentals workshop, presented by the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) on Saturday, September 21st from 1- 6:15PM.
The session takes place at the Film Production Studio, Room 118, at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts.
Come join us for an exciting in person event at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts to learn all about the essentials of working as an on-set Production Assistant in the film and television industry. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to kickstart their career behind the scenes.
Members of the DGC will talk about the fundamentals of working as an on-set Production Assistant followed by a panel discussion covering such topics as how to find and get work, how to become a member of the DGC and what helps you stand out.
