National Indigenous Peoples Day
Celebrate Indigenous culture and community! Enjoy Indigenous market vendors, a community services fair, child and youth activities and delicious food vendors at City Park. Then, head over to Springer Market Square for an amazing concert by 2nd Line Bluegrass!
Let's come together to honour and celebrate the resilience and richness of Indigenous cultures.
This event is organized by the Kingston Native Centre and Language Nest with support from the City of Kingston.
When and where?
On Friday June 21, 2024 at City Park and Springer Market Square.
Activities
At City Park enjoy from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.:
Rock climbing wall
Inflatable obstacle course
Market vendors selling handmade artisan crafts and much more
Children and youth activities
Splash pad
Food vendors
At Springer Market Square at 6 p.m.:
Enjoy a FREE concert by 2nd Line Bluegrass
Accessibility information
City Park is located on King St. East, between Barrie Street and West Street.
Springer Market Square is located at the corner of King St. East and Brock Street.
Both locations are fully accessible.
Accessible restrooms are available in City Hall, featuring one non-gendered family restroom.
