NICOLE RAMPERSAUD
Celebrating the release of her debut solo LP “Saudade”. Trumpet Player, Composer, and Improviser Nicole Rampersaud has a singular voice that intersects with a broad range of musical practices and
traditions. Her solo performances are well known and widely lauded for
creating compelling sonic worlds that combine spontaneous lyricism and
an extensive timbral palette through remarkable technical command of
her instrument. Nicole is the co-founder of the online improvisation
series, Understory, connecting artists from across the geo-political
territory known as Canada.
OFF WORLD
A rotating cast of live electronic collaborations helmed by producer
Sandro Perri. Off World will present fresh sounds and works, including
material from their brand new release (3) on Montreal’s
Constellation Records. Featuring Andrew Zukerman (Buchla Music Easel +
electronics), and Nicole Rampersaud (trumpet + electronics).
SING LEAF
An experimental blend of folk-rock and psychedelic pop that
incorporates electronics, Sing Leaf is the project of the
introspective, innovative songwriter David Como. Signed to UK label
Tin Angel Records, Sing Leaf has released 4 full-length albums and a
handful of EPs.
