Please join us on February 7th from 1 - 4 p.m. at the First Metropolitan Church Hall, located at 932 Balmoral Road. We will be talking about the International Decade for People of African Descent.
Discussions will tackle the following topics:
Black Ownership,
Generating Wealth,
Media Representation,
Arts,
Black Identity,
Mental & Physical Health,
Accessing Justice,
Community Safety,
Migration and Inclusion,
Education
Democratic Engagement,
Access to Affordable Housing and Shelter
11 open questions to 9-11 panellists and 5 guest speakers (from Government and Community Organizations)!
Join us and learn a bit more about the INTERNATIONAL DECADE FOR PEOPLE OF AFRICAN DESCENT.
***This Decade is significant as it promotes respect, protection, and fulfilment of human rights for people of African Descent. We believe that this event is in line with the objectives of celebrating Black History Month.
