If you are soothed by acoustic notes, engaged by environmental causes, or waxed lyrical by music and would like to hear some local Victoria talent, then this is an event for you!
Friday, September 30th is the first seasonal Open Mic night fundraiser, organized by Sierra Club BC Volunteers, with proceeds going to Sierra Club BC. It's all happening at the Roundhouse Cafe at 935 Cloverdale Avenue.
'This Day Burns' will be performing an electrifying acoustic set during the night. There will be awesome door prizes that you won't want to miss out on, and more info on these will come over the next few weeks!
*We are calling all local musicians to come on down at 6pm to sign up early to play before the night officially begins. The first three to sign up automatically get door prizes too! * All genres welcome.
It's a $5 recommended donation, which will go toward helping our friends at Sierra Club BC to fight logging in the Walbran, stop pipelines and tankers on our coast, and protect places and spaces of indigenous importance.
Come along to enjoy a night of acoustic sets and feel satisfied as your money goes toward keeping British Columbia beautiful and building a healthier future!
Ps. There will be complementary tea and baked goods!
