X Ambassadors have announced a fall headline tour in support of their debut album VHS. The X Ambassadors –VHS Tour will kick off October 22nd at Bowery Ballroom in New York City. X Ambassadors will release their debut album VHS June 30th on KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records. The set is produced by Grammy-winner Alex Da Kid, who signed them to his KIDinaKORNER label, and features the #1 Alternative Radio hit “Renegades.” The album is a First Play on iTunes radio and is streaming for free now. X Ambassadors and the Jeep brand joined forces on a first-of-its kind creative collaboration between the music and automotive industries to debut “Renegades” and the all-new 2015 Jeep Renegade in April 2015. The ambitious and unprecedented campaign saw the launch of the song and the vehicle timed together to introduce an all new vehicle to new consumers, while also fueling “Renegades” ascent to the top of the music charts. “Renegades" topped the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in just its eighth week at radio. This is the quickest rise to the top of the Alternative Songs chart for a group's first entry on the chart since 1998.
Hailing from Ithaca, NY, X Ambassadors recently wrapped up their first ever Bonnaroo appearance and headlined the Backyard Stage at the Firefly Festival to kick off a summer of touring which includes supporting Milky Chance on their summer tour and festival appearances at Summerfest, Osheaga, Life is Beautiful and more.
