LACEY started his music career at the age of 11 when he first picked up a guitar, with his first influences of southern rock bands, folk and jam bands, in high school he was a memeber of an organiziation called the Black Hole which involved many different types of artists sharing there craft with each other.
First it was garage's and house party's that he played and it soon migrated to the clubs and bars in Banff/ Canmore Alberta. First starting a residency and promoting shows at Zona's Bistro which turned into a 11 year residency where he brought in acts from all across Canada sustaining the electronic scene in the town. Seeing how it was not an easy road back then to just pop out and become a DJ, Lacey had to pave his own road.
THOM BANKS
Thom Banks has been a staple in the dance music community in the City of Gardens since the late 90's. His blend of house music ranges from jackin' to minimal tech to deep to straight-up classic house music. Thom has earned himself many residencies over the years and has been invited to play at the best festivals, parties and clubs on the West Coast, including Resonance, Song & Surf, Festivus, Tall Tree Music Festival and of course, Soundwave, west coast Canada's fabled electronic music festival.
His tight mixing, unparalleled track selection and keen ability in interpreting his crowd on the dance floor has allowed him to play alongside names such as Mathew Jonson, Dave Seaman, Mark Farina, Lawnchair Generals, The Mole, Bassnectar and Eddie C, just to name a few. Often considered a DJ's favourite DJ, Thom tends to lay down beats that are deep and techy - his timing's right and his beats are tight.
