Hatchling is a classical and jazz trained musician who took up the piano at age six and has been writing songs ever since. Her style is a sweet and smoky blend of jazz, blues, soul, folk, trip-hop and dance. (She likes so many genres, she really can't pick just one.)
Fans have compared her voice to the likes of Norah Jones, and Tracey Thorn of Everything But The Girl. Her poetic lyrics range from gorgeous and complex metaphor to heartbreaking simplicity.
Hatchling wears no armour over her heart or her eyes when she gives her raw and revealing performances. Her deepest pleasure is to connect to the hidden emotions of her audience. Come, listen, and be moved.

The Ghostbirds perform as a folky duo or as a full rock band. West Coast Island rhythms and harmonies with a Van/Seattle edge. Some sonic cousins include The Swell Season, Fleetwood Mac and Arcade Fire. The single Love is a Con was nominated for the 2012 Song of the year at the VIMAs and won for music video of the year in 2013 http://youtu.be/XAKRhSRdgGk. The debut album is due for release this Fall!

Megan Thom is a versatile new singer-songwriter who honed her talent in the pubs of Galway, Ireland, the lodges of Churchill, Manitoba and the shoe stores of rural Switzerland. Her music draws from her diverse musical training that includes jazz, bluegrass, celtic folk songs, klezmer and opera. Her songs are deeply inspired by her travels throughout Canada, Europe and Africa and the people and landscapes she encountered along the way. Currently based in her hometown of Victoria, BC, she plays with The Red Spring Trio (http://www.myspace.com/redspringtrio) and in a storytelling-music duo called Juniper Tree (http://www.myspace.com/junipertreestorytelling)
