In a music culture where bands dominate, BEN LEE is the youngest singer/songwriter to make an impression on Australian music. Even before his solo career, in his early teens, Lee came to attention as a member of the Sydney band Noise Addict. Finally casting off the “teen hero” tag with which he was lumbered during the mid- to late-1990s (both as a solo artist and out front of the band Noise Addict), Lee has emerged as a breakthrough artist thanks in large part to his textured arrangements and organic songwriting skills.
