Imperfect Memory

Event Description

Imperfect Memory is the theme of a mixed media exhibition from Victoria artists Lorraine Douglas, Kathy Guthrie and Susan Underwood.
Inspired by reminiscences ranging from childhood summers at the lake to family rituals and narratives, the works express the layered and elusive quality of memory.
Images reflect the imperfection of recollected experiences as past times, places and events are newly imagined and reshaped in prints, paintings, and sculptural collages in paper, thread and fabric.
