Eldorado:
Eldorado has an honest alt-country sound with roots firmly nestled in old-style country and new-style Americana/Canadiana. Tennessee born/Canadian raised, Angela Fama leads the five-piece with a sassy, sad and sweet voice that will cause you to both cry in your whiskey and then toe-tap your tears away side by side with guitarist/singer Nen Jelicic, steel/dobro guitarist Michael Flunkert (Shiloh Lindsey), bassist Julie Bavalis (Parlour Steps) and drummer Kenton Wiens.
Swank:
Vancouver's Swank deliver an unholy alliance of rock, country, soul, gospel, blues and punk styles that go together like moonshine & mason jars, preachin' & sinnin', Vegas & vice. The glorious mayhem that is Swank live has earned them a loyal fan base on both sides of the Atlantic in the wake of regular hometown shows and two memorable UK/Irish tours in 2005 and 2006. Plans are currently underway for a full scale assualt upon Spain and Portugal this Fall with a salvo or two fired at the UK for good measure.
Rodney DeCroo and His Convictions:
Rodney DeCroo is frequently hailed by music writers as one of Canada's best songwriters and his band, The Convictions, as one of the best folk-rock bands around. DeCroo's songs are raw, honest, and blistering and The Convictions tear through them like a freight train carrying a load of acid, moonshine, and plenty of fuck you. Don't miss them.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
