Event Description
The Conservatory orchestras get together for a real stringfest.
On stage will be the First Level Orchestra and the Cello Orchestra (Laura Backstrom director); the Intermediate String Orchestra (Trudi Conrad director); and the Classical Guitar Orchestra (Murray Visscher director).
The programme includes such favourite folk songs as Yankee Doodle, My Grandfather's Clock, and Danny Boy, as well as works by Giovanni Martini and Alexander Borodin, and a composition by cello orchestra member Bronwen Duncan.
Tickets: $10 in advance / $12 at the door
Available at the Conservatory and at the door.
