"This just in! Your personal reminder for this Thursday's special Victoria performance by ... Noze! One of only two Canadian dates (the other one is in Montreal) on this trip!
These Ambassadors of That Which is Truly Bizarre are the very same pagan princes that rattled the foundations of last year's "Soundwave Sunday" event! They promise, at the very least, to once again peel the paint off of your preconceived notions of what is "right" and "worthy" in this world!
Please taste of this invitation carefully!, which begs you to tunnel under your fears, and the facade that invariably accompanies them on your soujourns out and about our quaint little town and yours, only to surface in a place where you WILL be accepted ... even rejoiced! ... for the cockroach that you most certainly are on your very best of days! For, in this place, the monster that you become in your darkest of hours is the one that WE WISH to know and embrace! For he IS the one that we'll refer to, under the Jungle Room Big Top, as "normal".
So come on out as yourself ... really! At least, if you can once again muster that inexplicable something that has drawn you in with us into the late nights past, year after year. There's nothin' to it, but to do it! Just slide on around it, get it right up into it, come on down upon it, and throw some in hard right on top of it, so it'll think twice the next time, before getting up and giving you any lip!
This bout will be held at the Jungle Room Big Top, this Thursday night only! Come stink up your feet a bit, with a few turns around the dance floor, with US ... and with the legendary .... Noze! Yay! Just cause its far away, and totally ludicrous really, doesn't mean that you shouldn't just willy nilly throw caution to the wind, heed my cockamamy command, and come BE with us, for old time's sake!
We'd love to see you there! and can most certainly be relied upon to just pretend that you are ... even if you, quite clearly, are not ... So, be warned!
