1000 Islands Music Coalition is an expanding community-oriented group grounded in the partnership of 1000 Islands House Concerts (TIHC), Live from the Mic (LFTM) Community Jam, Antidote Artists (programming and management), and various partners. Noting the rich potential for the growth of live music and arts infrastructure in Leeds & Grenville counties and the scenic 1000 Islands region, the coalition is an ad hoc collective working towards non-profit incorporation. Led by Amanda Keeley and Mark Lloyd, TIHC provides both spaces for, and promotion of, intimate concerts and community jams. In an under-served small-town area, it’s a leading presenter of top touring artists. Antidote Artists was founded by Brockville native Patch Twaddle with the objective of developing export-level music creators, building values-based music brands, and programming high-quality events. Patch is a trained musicologist (MA, York University), post-secondary course director, and an entrepreneur with an MBA specializing in Arts, Media & Entertainment.
