We are an Indigenous women/Indigequeer owned and operated, trauma-informed Indigenous creative practice space. Our gallery is one of the few Indigenous 2S, women owned and operated spaces in Canada.
We provide space where Indigenous creatives feel safe and comfortable sharing their creative practices and creations without the fear of our ways being recolonized within systems where often our worldviews clash.
We enact sovereign creative practices, create art/ cultural programming, and host gallery, studio, rental and retail space where Indigenous artists are centered, fairly compensated for their work. We support and create capacity and access to authentic, creative, Indigenous practices, which creates a space that is accessible for allies to witness and learn more about our lives/stories/creative practices.
Moccasins, regalia, beaded and woven jewelry, leatherwork, medicines, drums, rattles, and more; contemporary and traditional works, from ready-to-wear art to heirloom pieces are available in our shop. We also curate wholesale items from Indigenous businesses across Turtle Island, as well as maker’s supplies such as; porcupine quills, jingles, ribbons, beads, medicines and more.
We provide rental space for community/allied businesses and organizations. We aim to host educational presentations, art and culture exhibitions, and all your meeting needs. Our gallery can be converted into a meeting space with cultural protocols provided and Indigenous focused extras such as smudging for your guests, elder attendance, and more.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
