Megan Hamilton is the true epitome of an indie musician. She’s recorded in town halls in rural Saskatchewan as well as studios in Toronto, here in Kingston and in Stittsville and most recently at The Grand Theatre where she did a 4-day writing and recording residency in 2023. With 5 recordings to date, she is currently working on her 6th - a sort of love song to Kingston called The Water Remembers Us From Before. She’s booked national tours for her band, played in some high-profile festivals like local Wolfe Island Music Festival and Skeleton Park Arts and Music Festival, and been hand-picked to open for international stars My Morning Jacket, Royal Wood, Pink Mountaintops and many, many others. Her music has been described as “[e]vocative after-hours songs delivered with smoke-and-whiskey vocals.” (Sarah Liss, CBC) and her independent spirit ensures the deep feelings aren’t smoothed out of the music with autotune.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
