This coming Earth Day, April 22, 2024, The Spire hosts adventurer, author, and underwater explorer Jill Heinerth for an Earth Day multimedia presentation in the facility’s historic performance hall.

The event will take guests through Jill’s exciting and ongoing career as one of the world’s most accomplished underwater explorers. From diving iceberg caves in Antarctica with National Geographic to training divers on the set of Avatar 2, Jill’s curiosity and passion about our watery planet are the driving forces in her life. In her visually stunning presentations, she encourages audiences to reach beyond their limitations, challenge the unknown, and love our rich and magnificent oceans and waterways.

Following the presentation, attendees will be invited to explore a huge interactive and walkable water systems map and to engage with a water
conservation art installation presented by Kingston Youth Climate Action.

Guests will also have the opportunity to meet with partnering environmental and sustainability organizations and learn more about our planet and important water systems.
