La Banda Skalavera

Storming out of South Central L.A., La Banda Skavalera (LBS) is a titan of Latin ska energy that keeps listeners guessing as to where they'll go next. With 18 years under their belts, the nine-members of LBS are a finely tuned machine, switching gears between straight-ska, reggae, cumbia, heavy metal and norteño, with a deftness befitting their time on the scene. Lyrics in both English and Spanish help widen the scope of the band's reach, crossing cultural borders that often go unchallenged.
