The Book of Lists

The book of lists formed in august 2005 with members of radio berlin, the secret three and t.a.l.a. band. in order to pressure themselves to write some songs, they decided to schedule their first show. this show ended up being in december, opening for the pink mountaintops and ladyhawk at richards on richards. soon after in the same month, the book of lists settled into the hive creative labs with collin stewart and josh wells (of black mountain/pink mountaintops fame) to engineer and produce what would become the album "red arrows". global symphonic had to agreed to release the album before hearing any of the music. the band has since shared the stage with the likes of: destroyer, frog eyes, black mountian, streets, the doves (uk) and steven malkmus. the red arrows album was released on june 7th in canada and will be released on june 28th in the usa. people seem to like it. this summer, the book of lists plan to return to their vancouver rehearsal space and write a new record they hope to record this winter. live appearences may occur.
