Sad Face
Sad Face, voted "Seattle's Best New Local Band" in Seattle Magazine's 2011 Reader's Poll, is a five piece rock band from Seattle, Washington. Garnering comparisons of bands such as Low, the Pixies, and Radiohead, their moody and melodic sound is diverse and dynamic, running the gamut from soft, harmony driven pop-tunes to chaotic, dissonant noise rock.
In their short career, Sad Face has had the honor of playing with great bands such as Ramona Falls (Barsuk), Mt. St. Helen's Vietnam Band (Dead Oceans), and Thousands (Bella Union) among many others, including performances at Seattle's top venues like The Showbox at the Market, the Tractor Tavern, and the Vera Project for Seattle's 2011 Noise for the Needy festival.
