Dr. Madd Vibe’s work represents a link between poetry, performance art and music. Angelo Moore (aka Dr. Madd Vibe) began his career in the early 1980s as lead singer, saxophonist, and creative force behind the band Fishbone. Fishbone’s ability to blend social commentary and humor with a blazing fusion of rock, punk, funk, ska, reggae, gospel and R&B led to their recognition as one of the most notable acts in American music. After over 25 years in the biz, Moore continues his role as frontman of Fishbone, who have entered into a 3rd generation line-up. The band has released 8 full-length albums including “Fishbone” (1985), “Truth and Soul” (1988), “The Reality of My Surroundings” (1991), “Give a Monkey a Brain and He’ll Think He’s the Center of the Universe” (1993), “Chim Chim’s Badass Revenge” (1996), “The Psychotic Friends Nuttwerx” (2000), “Friendliest Psychosis of All” (2002), and “Still Stuck in Your Throat” (2007).
