The classic sounds, the retro tones, and the vintage look of the Valuables are tearing up dance floors all over the Pacific Northwest. Bringing you a blend of reggae and soul, their debut self titled EP is already getting airplay in Vancouver, British Columbia, Los Angeles, California, Montreal, Quebec, Seattle, Washington and London, England. The band grabs you immediately with the infectious first single “Downpour” and the soulful hard hitting “Knockin’ On My Door.” With this promising introduction and a year that saw them play The Victoria Ska Fest, Shambhala Music Festival, The Vancouver Latin Festival, The Seattle Ska Fest, The Valuables have grown into a premier live experience. Top it off with a number of interviews on Podcasts and Radio Shows such as Ska T’s Scene-ik Drive, Pressure Drop Sound Cast, Monumental Tracks and Real Punk Radio, The Valuables have arrived.Reigning from Vancouver BC, The Valuables gather influences from the roots music of Jamaica and late sixties soul of the United States. It has been said that with their retro sound, The Valuables can turn any venue into a 60’s dancehall. Inspired by such artists such as James Brown, Desmond Dekker and The Temptations, The Valuables make a classic sound all their own with their non-stop memorable live show.
