As the sun set on our 45th year, we couldn't help but get a little misty-eyed over all the beautiful memories we made — this year and every year since.
Thinking back to our humble beginnings as a modest two-day affair in 1980, it's a little surreal to look out onto Prince's Island Park and see thousands and thousands of friends, families, and cherished loved ones coming together to celebrate music, community, and our beautiful city.
Thank you to everyone for another memorable Calgary Folk Music Festival, and for making our dreams come true. See you next year folkies!
