〤🔥⑇Adelaide is about the loss we experience in life, how it most often comes in ways we don't expect it to. McLelland wrote Adelaide when he was in high school about a girl he had been friends with for some time, and at one point suddenly became more than friends. McLelland explains that from the moment they became more than friends, he could feel her drift away from him as she became infatuated with hard drugs. He sat on the song he had written for several years and over time he decided that Adelaide was a message he needed to share with the world, that no matter the loss, there is always hope.
