On December 22, 2021, The Glorious Sons announced the postponement of their hometown New Year's Eve performance at Leon's Centre in Kingston to the disappointment of many longtime fans. Then, just a few days later on December 29, the band released some exciting news: “While we had planned to ring in the new year with our hometown friends and family at Leon’s Centre in Kingston, the pandemic had other plans. So instead, we are sharing the premiere of our Little Prison City concert film, shot February 24th 2018 at Leon’s Centre (then K-Rock Centre) in Kingston.”

The Glorious Sons new concert film, Little Prison City, will premiere as a livestream via The Sons’ TGS Union mobile app on December 31, 2021 at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, and will be rebroadcast at at 9 p.m. Pacific Time. For those who download the TGS Union app, the band has included the full-length concert audio from Rock on the River recorded live in Timmins, Ontario on October 2, 2021 (accessible in the Media section of the app).
