On August 10, 2026, jazz duo Nathalie Craan and Dave Beckstead celebrate an extraordinary 35 years of making music together with a special duo performance at the RCHA from 4:30–6:30 p.m.
With a musical partnership spanning more than three decades, Nathalie and Dave have performed in a variety of formats—from intimate duo settings and trios to larger ensembles and full big bands—and have taken their music to audiences across Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. Their repertoire combines classic jazz with modern twists alongside contemporary music infused with a jazz aesthetic. Career highlights include a U.S. State Department “Jazz Ambassadors” tour of Madagascar, an eight-year house gig at Beijing’s CD Jazz Café, a performance at the Forbidden City Concert Hall as part of the Beijing Nine Gates Jazz Festival, and a five-year association with Redbones Blues Café in Kingston, Jamaica. Now calling Kingston, Ontario home, Nathalie and Dave invite audiences to join them in celebrating 35 years of musical collaboration.
