Sadaf Amini

Santur artist Sadaf Amini is an award-winning performer trained at the University of Tehran and the University of Toronto, where she completed a Master’s degree in Music Technology. A laureate of major festivals in Iran and Canada, Sadaf was also a prizewinner of the Isabel’s 2019 YGK Emerging Musician Competition. She has performed internationally and recorded extensively as both a soloist and collaborator and is now expanding beyond traditional Iranian repertoire to create a deeply personal musical voice that blends heritage with contemporary sound.
