Victoria Folk Music Society weekly gathering: Everyone—welcome Jam at 6:45pm, Open Stage at 7:30pm, Feature Performers Peach & Quiet at 9:00pm; Friendship Hall (formerly Norway House) 1110 Hillside Avenue, $8 cash at the door

Peach & Quiet, the musical duo of Jonny Miller and Heather Read, has been enchanting audiences since they first burst onto the music scene in 2020 with their debut album "Just Beyond the Shine". They released their second album, “Beautiful Thing”, in 2023 - a testament to hope, courage, and gratitude in challenging times, affirming that life is indeed "a beautiful thing”! Expertly produced by Nashville's Steve Dawson, the album was widely praised by critics who called it "divine" and "utterly original” for its unique combination of 1960s Laurel Canyon nostalgia and contemporary sounds.

Peach & Quiet are now evolving their sound to embrace a West Coast roots-soul vibe with new releases from renowned producer Daniel Klenner including "Bright Side of the Road", "One of These Days", and "Life's Basket” Get ready to be swept away by irresistible melodies and heartfelt lyrics—this duo is just getting started!
