Event Description
Art and music - celebrate survivors and community connection by amplifying voices- raising awareness around domestic violence & resources
The “Raise Awareness – Hear My Voice” campaign was created to educate the public, engage survivors, and strengthen partnerships. The evening intends to amplify the voices of survivors and provide a space for artists by creating an evening of music and art for the community to enjoy.
International Women’s Day is on March 8th so we have planned the evening for this month (March 26th), in celebration of women, while also recognizing that violence and abuse affect all genders. The performers for the evening represent a diverse group of those who have been affected by abuse in some way or who care about the issue and would like to provide entertainment as well.
The event is expected to be a safe space for all in attendance. We are excited to celebrate the art and music of those in our community and ask that the attendees be a part of this uplifting evening of connection.
Due to some of the the content that will be presented, we recommend guests to be 16+ years of age.
The bar will be open to serve beverages and we will have some light refreshments provided.
