Gerald McGrath returns with his pop rock indie folk sound to The Cove Inn on Mondays in August. Showtime is 5-8pm! ***except August 4th!
Gerald has been playing guitar and singing in bands in and around the Kingston area for over 25 years. Most recently, Gerald could be seen on stage performing guitar and backing vocal duties with Heather Bell’s group Bellfonix, and local hard-rock outfit Thick as Thieves. Over the years, he has shared the stage with Kingston legends like Spencer Evans and Chris Koster, as well as spending time with Mixtape, The Robert Graham Band, and indie music collective In the Guestroom.
As a solo artist, Gerald uses live looping effects to create engaging soundscapes to accompany his singing and playing. This new solo endeavour has led to Gerald beginning to work on writing and recording new material for the first time in a long time, and he is excited to share his new musical ideas.
***Shows are from 5-8pm. If bad weather, shows are indoors. Voluntary Gratuity/Cover Charge is greatly appreciated for this performance!
