About Pablo Cardenas
Pablo Cardenas is a Cuban pianist, composer, music educator and arranger with different influences like Afro-Cuban, Latin jazz, Jazz Fusion, Modern Jazz, Classical and more. He studied classical performance at the Superior Institute of Arts in Havana, Cuba. Since the 2000s he has been performing in music festivals in Havana and internationally. He has been residing in Canada since 2011 where he created different music projects as The West Coast Cuban Orchestra, highly contributing for the development of the Afro-Cuban music and jazz scene in the area, performing at the most important venues and festivals around, and collaborating with many accomplished musicians like Canadian treasures Dee Daniel and Denzal Sinclair. Pablo has been also collaborating with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra in the last years.
