Event Description
Join MoCL on March 23rd from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for an engaging drawing and collage workshop led by renowned artist Amber Powell!
In Amber's own words: "In my work, happenstance and accidents are a key theme. Having combined printed images from magazines and other sources of mass media, mixed with illustration, my work reproduces familiar visual signs as external forces and their ability to alter our sense of self. A curious concoction of ‘stuff management’, my work is the gathering of frozen moments, distributed in a whimsical space.”
Why should you attend this workshop? Amber’s creative approach invites participants to explore the serendipitous and spontaneous aspects of art-making. Whether you're an experienced artist or a complete beginner, this hands-on session will encourage you to embrace the unexpected, experimenting with collage and illustration to uncover new ways of self-expression. It's an opportunity to step outside traditional artistic boundaries and create something truly unique.
WHERE: 750 Fairfield Rd.
COST: Free/By donation.
