Event Description
Throw up the horns and leave them wanting more! This two-part intensive introduces the subgenre of metal-esque and guides practitioners in developing their creative abilities to include hard-driving music. Workshop will include learning theory, movement and choreography. Topics include: -Metal movement: how do I dance to that? -Metal subgenres: what kind of metal should I use? -Balancing intensities: how much is too much? -Expanding comfort zones: what if the audience hates it? -Narratives and moods: what does metal offer to burlesque dancers.
