Event Description
Join us for the third Snow Social! This event is a celebration of the winter season and will feature activities at The Point Park and throughout the village of Sydenham, just 20 minutes north of Kingston. Admission is free however donations will be gratefully accepted. This is an all-weather event. Visitors should dress like a well-prepared Canadian and plan to take part in all sorts of winter fun including snow tubing (conditions permitting) and firepits. We will have a vendor’s market, lots of live music, kids activities, and SNOW much more!
Join us at The Point Park for music under the Big Top Tent. We'll be featuring some of the region's best live music. Be sure to give them thanks as they play an outdoor gig in January! That is dedication!
12:00 pm - 12:45 pm - Lucas Pell - Lucas is a creative performer who wins the crowds regardless of age or musical preference. Lucas was recently an extra prisoner in the TV series Mayor of Kingston wand shared screen time with Jeremy Reener (Hawkeye). His original music can be found on Spotify and YouTube under his full name Lucanus Pell.
1:00 pm - 1:45 pm - The Cork Sniffers - The Cork Sniffers are a Kingston multi-instrumental duo best known for their handlebar moustaches (moustaches no longer available). Critics have generally agreed that they play songs. Blending guitar, mandolin, ukulele and harmonica, their vast variety of music encompasses many genres including classic rock, country, folk, and from all eras. They promise to give you one plucking song after another!

2:00 pm - 2:45 pm - Reg Corey - Reg Corey is a seasoned musician and guitar teacher. Reg began playing the guitar at the age of 8 and by the time he reached 14, he was performing in bands. Reg now prefers to perform as a solo act with his unique two and three finger picking style and has done so for more than 30- years. Reg specializes in Canadian artists such as Gordon Lightfoot, Stan Rogers, Neil Young, Valdy, and Joni Mitchell. Reg also covers songs from a wide variety of bands and solo artists from around the world. Reg's genre of music includes folk, soft rock, pop, and country, and contemporary covers from the 60's and 70's and up. He has performed live on Trent Radio and more recently (2023) did a Gordon Lightfoot Tribute after his passing.

3:00 pm - 3:45 pm - Plastic Paddy - The lively, Plastic Paddy duo with their own flare, will preform East Coast, Celtic and a variety of fun popular tunes. Based out of Kingston Ontario, the duo features Andrew Vanhorn (lead vocals and guitar) and Laura Anderson-Brick (accordion, vocals). Laura and Andrew are both active on the local music scene and are long-time friends.
