Event Description
OVO is teeming with life. Insects work, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy in motion. Their home is filled with biodiversity, beauty, action and moments of quiet emotion. The awestruck insects are intensely curious when a mysterious egg appears, representing the enigma and cycles of their lives.
The show plunges the audience into the hidden universe alive at our feet; an ecosystem teeming with life and unseen beings - insects that work, eat, crawl, flutter, feast, fight and court among each other in an ongoing explosion of energy and movement.
What does OVO mean? Ovo means "egg"’ in Portuguese.
How long is OVO? OVO is a 100 min long performance excluding a 25 min intermission.
Is OVO appropriate for children? Like most of Cirque du Soleil shows, OVO is meant to entertain the whole family. That being said, it does contain loud noises and some dark scenes.
