From Julia Finnegan’s website:
“Indie-folk singer-songwriter, Julia Finnegan, identifies as a storyteller first; finding catharsis in words and their ability to connect with others in an intimate way. Based in Kingston, Finnegan was drawn to music at an early age and has been performing for audiences across Ontario for the better part of the last 10 years. She is inspired by folk cornerstones like Nick Drake and Joni Mitchell as well as contemporary artists like Andy Shauf, Sarah Harmer and Phoebe Bridgers. In 2015, she released her first EP, Thoughts Collide, which received radio play from coast to coast on CBC radio. At the height of the pandemic, Finnegan released her debut full-length record Listen to the Wallflowers. She is currently recording new music and looks forward to playing a stage near you.”
