TRICKY WOO - Legendary Montreal rock visionaries Tricky Woo ignite rock n' roll glory, giving 110% of ass blasting riffage by delivering heart pumping rockers that excite and stimulate as they bring the house down. This incendiary indie powerhouse takes audiences on a retro groove journey and shows what rock music used to be all about by channeling a world ruled by powerful guitar tuneage.
One of Canada's most explosive live acts, Tricky Woo's garage punk has developed a huge underground following on both sides of the border, receiving MuchMusic airplay, national recognition with a Juno nomination for Best Alternative Album, and rave reviews from influential music magazines and almost every major newspaper in Canada. "Tricky Woo is one of the best fucking bands in Canada. They're all amazing musicians. This band is my Zeppelin, everyone has to see them live." — Ottawa Express http://www.trickywoo.org
C'MON - Toronto's C'MON showcases heavy rock with raw power and over-the-top high energy shows. Featuring Ian Blurton (Bionic, Blurtonia) on guitar & vocals, Katie Lynn Campbell (Nashville Pussy) on bass & vocals, and Randy Curnew (Skydiggers, Cash Brothers, Blurtonia) on drums, C'mon align themselves with hot nights in rock clubs the world over, the sweaty afterglow of congregation, and all bands that carry the banner "beware the false rock". http://www.thisiscmon.com
STARVIN HUNGRY the Montreal-based band is fronted by John Milchem, twin brother of Blue Rodeo drummer and Swallows lead dude Glenn Milchem. Rounded out by a group of stellar Montreal rockers including ex-Soft Canyon bassist Dave Lavoie, the hard rocking four-piece band's philosophy, "Desire for sensory overload", defines their sound. Cranking out no-frills rock at maximum volume, the band's recently released Grenadine Records debut full-length "Damnesty" is loaded with strong songwriting, catchy hooks and tight playing; all captured in their sheetkicking glory by Bionic's Jonathan Cummins, (ex-Doughboys guitarist). Bombastically intense sounds influenced by bands from the Detroit and New York punk rock scenes meld into an explosive sonic vibe. http://www.newmusiccanada.com/starvinhungry
