Event Description

Victoria Shows Love is proud to present the Victoria Premier of the Cannes award winning documentary “Bigger Than Us” at Vic Theatre on Friday, November 24 at 7 PM. The firm features Melati Wijsen who travels the world to meet young activists who have already helped the world with their perseverance and selflessness. One of those is well-known climate activist Greta Thunberg.

Bigger Than Us is the inspirational story of seven youth around the globe working to make the world a better place, including challenging the toxic use of land and improving food sustainability, but also reducing plastic waste, championing freedom of press, preventing child marriages, improving education in area of poverty and immigration, and helping rescue fleeing refugees in Mediterranean.

Following the film, there will be an informative panel discussion.
