A one-act play told in song


This performance will be presented at the Domino Theatre by Not So Amateur Amateurs. Starring Jenica Rayne. Directed by David Archibald.

Two performances: 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Runtime of an hour.

About Untold Stories


Untold Stories is a one-act play about relationships and the influence they have on who we are – and who we become. Told through 18 original, thought-provoking songs ranging in genre from folk to pop to jazz to country, and performed by a nine-piece band, Untold Stories is Mona’s story about the influential relationships in her life – and her relationship with herself. Seven characters tell Mona’s story: Mona; Mona’s inner voice; Mona’s birth mother; her adoptive mother and father; her best friend, Melanie; and her partner, Pierre.

I’m a passionate singer-songwriter, guitarist, performer, and music teacher. I thrive on telling stories with my music and strive for honest, direct, and tender lyrics. My musical interests and influences reach across genres, and inform my storytelling. I’m delighted to share my song-craft with the talented musicians who are performing Mona’s story. I’m also extremely grateful to the audiences for generously believing in my art. I truly hope they will connect with Mona, and follow her through her highs, her lows and her in-betweens.
