Event Description

First inspired by Django Reinhardt and the gypsy jazz of the 1930s, Damoizeaux handles like no other the hybridization of vintage and colorful styles by integrating pop-jazz sounds, with a scent of cinema and poetry. Revealing an adventurous and colorful pen, the compositions of the album “En plume” released on September 25, 2020 combine elegance and finesse: in the voice as in the fluidity of the drums or in the light rhythm of the guitars.

D’abord inspiré par Django Reinhardt et le jazz manouche des années 30, Damoizeaux manie comme personne l’hybridation des styles vintages et colorés en y intégrant des sonorités pop-jazz, avec un parfum de cinéma et de poésie. Révélant une plume aventurière et imagée, les compositions de l’album « En plume », paru le 25 septembre 2020, allient élégance et finesse : dans la voix comme dans la fluidité de la batterie ou dans le rythme léger des guitares.
