Frank Ryan was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. Brought up on a wide range of music from The Beatles and Bob Dylan, to Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, he was inspired to pick up the guitar and sing. By his mid teens, he was performing all over Dublin’s notorious bar scene. Finishing off his formative years working as a session musician in London, England, he then set off for North America.
