Blues is back! Once again, the streets of downtown Kingston will welcome the raucous sounds of the blues, as the Limestone City Blues Festival returns to Springer Market Square, August 27 and 28, 2021, with an all-Canadian, dynamic and decorated lineup.
Often referred to as the Poet Laureate of the Blues and known for the intensity of his performances, Paul Reddick is sure to bring down the house when he headlines the main stage on Friday night. Juno Award winning artist Steve Marriner kicks things off, followed by the energetic Raoul and The Big Time.
On the heels of their recent Juno nomination for Blues Album of the Year, Samantha Martin and Delta Sugar return to the festival’s main stage on Saturday. Napanee’s own Kim Pollard Band opens the evening, followed by crowd favourite Soulstack.
A $20 wristband gives you access to two nights of amazing performances, live and in person at both the mainstage and In the Clubs! Wristbands will be available for online purchase beginning Friday, July 30 at 10:00 am. Check downtownkingston.ca for all the details. As of August 12, you can buy wristbands in person at participating clubs and the Downtown Kingston! office. Attendance is limited, so don’t wait.
