Event Description
Tagline Mahogany Swing Band (formerly Mahogany Hall) is a Vancouver-Island based jazz ensemble led by pianist Patrick Courtin and vocalist Simon Paterson. Their sound is full of hard-swinging jazz, soulful blues and lush ballads.
Mahogany Swing Band influences include Frank Sinatra, Billie Holliday, Nat King Cole Trio and Kurt Elling, but also Tom Waits, Stephen Sondheim and Seth MacFarlane.
