Join us for a special book talk with award-winning writer, conservation photographer, book author, and documentary filmmaker, Isabelle Groc.
This evening will include a conversation with the writer about her book Conservation Canines: How Dogs Work the Environment. Isabelle will provide a rare glimpse into dogs’ working lives, celebrate the human-animal bond, and revisit our relationship with dogs in our lives and the natural world. Isabelle will share her passion for wildlife conservation and the relationships between people and the natural world, especially about how dogs work with humans to protect endangered wildlife.
There will also be a special canine scent demonstration by Victoria-based dog instructor Janet Parker, who will show us how nose work can also benefit pet dogs! A book signing will be available after the talk and demonstration.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
